The stylish and chic nylon dress socks are custom printed on mesh fabric in a variety of original prints and colors. The simple, yet luxurious everyday women's socks are rendered in a bamboo rayon jersey, which is sustainable, natural and machine washable.
Unlike traditional socks, which are fully knit, Darner socks are cut-and-sewn from custom-made nylon and bamboo jersey fabrics. The socks feature beautiful seam details, which elongate the foot and leg. The unique cut-and-sew socks are inspired by a hosiery pattern from the late 1800's. Darner comes from the nickname given to the women brought into the military during the Civil War to repair (or darn) the soldiers’ damaged socks. Made in USA.
